You are looking at an outstanding Levis Big E Type 1 buckle back 506XX selvage jean jacket in a size 40. This is a repro made in the original San Francisco Levis factory on Valencia St in the 90's and is no longer produced. The 555 stamped on the back of the buttons denote this. This selvage denim jacket is in mint condition with no flaws visible. There were copper rivets at all stress points, such as at the corners of the single breast pocket and at the top of the sleeve vents. A cincher at the back for fit adjustment and a double pleated front( to allow shrinkage) made this an easy to wear practical jacket.
